my car

Ok, well, I am finally getting around to this blog! lol! I have been meaning to put this on my blog for the last week...but, I just never got around to it...ok..well, on the 3rd of Sept...my parents left for vacation early in the morning, of course. So, they had just had my car looked over and everything was fine. But, no, it wasn't, unfortunately. That night on my way to another friend's house with a few of my other friends...my car broke down. It started smoking and the engine died. OMG! That was scary! It was more scary for me because the last time that one of my parents' cars started smoking (back when I was 10 or something like that) it caught on fire. So, when my car started smoking, it brought back those memories..and believe me, I didn't want that to happen to my car. But, thankfully, it didn't. I was happy. But, yeah, this happened around 11:30pm. I kno, I kno..late, huh? But, anyways, I called my bf, who was just 10 min. behind me at the time..and he came and rescued me!! So, well, he checked my oil, and, it was low..so, we went to the gas station, bought some oil, and put it in my car. After letting it cool down, we thought that maybe I could make it home..which was about 10-15 min. away. So, I made it pretty far, thankfully, without it overheating..but, unfortunately, it broke down again..I got it started up again..and, I made it about 2 miles from my house, when it started smoking again. So, we had to call a tow truck to tow it to my house..which wasn't very far. But, we got it to my house. Praise God! But, yeah....so, later, we checked the coolant..and I was low on that, too, we put some more in..but, that wasn't it either. We thought it was the thermostat..and, again, that wasn't it. So, I had to wait until my parents got home from vacation on Fri. to get it fixed. Yesterday, my Dad had it towed to the mechanic, and we found out what was wrong with it. It was a broken water clamp, or something like that. Something really easy to fix, thank goodness. I really hope that this fixes my car..I really do. But, yeah, that is the story of my car. I will post more later...I am going to be getting my car back today! I can drive again today!!! I can go places! YAY! Laterz!
